You live in Los Angeles, where the behavior of the police is notorious. Do you teach your kids (assuming you have any) that the LA police are their friends? Not good advice, I would suggest.

Finally, just a minor quibble: Do you really have to adopt the TSA's peculiar government-speak of referring to the police as "LEOs"? Ordinary English words have suited us quite well for a couple of centuries in this area, wouldn't you agree? I know why some TSA employees use this jargon (to show that they are "on the inside" -- and we aren't!), but I don't know why you do.
