That'd be nice actually, if there was a distinction between a CC gold and a gold who had done the 20 stays. Actually the same would be nice with someone who manufactured the spend through the CC for diamond as well.
That being said, CC money is apparently so valuable (look at Delta with their AMEX waivers) that HH will probably never change this.
I finally have hit diamond this year and definitely see some better treatment, although nothing spectacular.
