Coming in on this late, but I was in the F Lounge around a month ago and noticed that, much to my surprise, there was really no decent gin at all. I was used to the Tanqueray 10 from before, but I think there as actually nothing but, ahem, Gordon's (I thought that was only used in Eurotraveller... that's certainly the only time I've ever seen it!)

There was, however, still JW Blue, which I'm not a big fan of by any means, but I do find drinkable. So I poured myself a bit of that. Interestingly, on this particular day, there were some very nice wines (more French than anything else), including a nice white Burgundy (Puligny-Montrachet, I think), and a very good red (I'll admit, I was there for a long while. I had arrived with one person from long-haul and took a much later departure to Nice in order to travel with my parents, who were coming in from a different long-haul).

A month earlier, however, the wine selection in the same T5 FLounge was so poor I took a picture and sent it to one of my sommelier friends asking what had come of BA...

Sad times.
