Thanks, that's the information I was looking for. Since there's only one later flight that day, I'll keep a close watch on the availability before I cut it too close.
By the way, AC (despite what their website says) has moved to terminal C, right next to UA. They have their own check-in stations, though, which I believe are manned by AC employees or at least people in AC uniforms.
