What day did you fly in? I was on the flight departing NRT on Friday night. I am told loads are always light on the red eyes. Like you, hoping for a similar situation on the 777 back Tuesday night. Seating chart is quite full though, but mostly with empty centre seats. As AA codeshare, unable to select seats in advance on JL, nor was I able to do OLCI ex-PHL. Hoping it will be different tonight when I try OLCI. (At least all my AA segments have cleared the upgrade list.)
