You should gave two PNR's one from BA and one from IB. But that still dosent gaurantee that MMB will work as IB can be very tempermental. I manage to choose my seat but couldn't get it to open up for my daughter on same booking. After several attempts via gold line I got it sorted only for for IB to change flight and had to bloody start again
