772 PE Seats With Some Pictures (TT Experience)

Observations:

1. Rows 23 and 27 are out of alignment with window. Thick fuselage beside seat and window is some distance in front.

2. Footrest only good for someone with very short legs and/or less than 5'8" tall

3. For footrest to stay extended, there is a little switch on the RHS of the footrest padding that needs to be switched to lock the footrest extension.

4. Underseat leg room is great. IFE boxes are very compact and didn't get in the way at all. They look about 1/3 the size of the previous IFE boxes on the old 772

5. Seats very comfortable (for 3.5 hours at least). Well padded and adjustable winged headrest (that were't evident in the pictures to me)

6. IFE fast and very slick. New format, new everything. Lots of quality movies and shows. Categorisation was a bit iffy sometimes

7. BUT IFE was buggy on this flight. Flickering flight time readout, crew had to do an old style safety demonstration as Bear Grylls audio wouldn't work. Movies took a breath and paused everey 15 or so seconds, then continued. Crew said it had never happened before. Hopefully just teething problems.

8. Crew call button couldn't be cancelled from seat - the crew had to do it at their station

Thanks

Here are the seats - not as good a shot as I had hoped

Here is the legroom - plenty for PE. As an indication I am 5' 11" tall.

Legs on legrest fuly extended. The footrest does not extend far enough to be comfortable for someone my height IMO

Traps for young players. Without flicking this switch, the extension of the footrest will not lock extended and will keep trying to buckle your knees

IFE start screen

IFE Watch Screen

Here is the footspace under the seat. Having sat in PE on 772 numerous times, I am so pleased that there is now no IFE box intrusion into foot space. I would say the new IFE black box is maybe 1/3 the size of the old one.

Centre console/armrest/drink space

Here are the power points, located at the bottom of the centre armrest between the two footrests

No window immediately beside my seat 27A. Also 23AK and 27K have this "feature."
