FlyBe have announced that they will be closing their rewards programme Rewards4All and joining Avios.
If you have Rewards4All points, they will not be transferred or converted to Avios, so start thinking about how to spend now.
From the
FlyBe Avios FAQ...
- Rewards4All will be closed from 10th October 2014
- Rewards4All points can be collected until 9th January 2015 on all qualifying flights at the current earning rate
- Rewards4All points can be spent until 31 March 2015 on flights which depart before 24th October 2015.
As I've suggested before in other discussions, R4A points are worth next to nothing on most FlyBe flights, because the taxes and charges usually add up to the same as the cash fare for available redemption flights
However, R4A points are great value on intra-Scotland flights operated by Loganair for FlyBe, where Scottish subsidies greatly reduce the proportion of the air fare that is taxes and charges. So if you don't want to lose them, think about a trip to one of the Scottish Islands next spring or summer.
Happy traveling ^
