Comcast in Chicago is as bad as anywhere else. It just comes down to them being so awful at just providing decent customer service. I'm on the North side and they couldn't even figure out the appointment so I canceled before they even came out and went with ATT for cable internet, not sure what your exact options are but I would avoid them if you can.
