Thanks all for the RTW info. and upgrades. I am looking at buying an H fare for upgrade purposes.

Since I have status on AC only, I guess it is impossible to upgrade on an entire RTW except for the AC medal portions. What are my options short of paying for a business class RTW which is around $8k?

I would guess the UAL portions would be upgradeable as well if I can have SWUs, and LH will do same day upgrades only with same UAL SWUs. Are there other options I am missing from other *A carriers?

I do not know ANZ, Austrians, SAS,etc policies so any info would be helpful.
