I did a few internet searches to no avail. I was wondering if anyone knew the prices of a transatlantic flight in the pre-jet era (prior to 1958).

I often heard it cost more than a First Class ticket on an ocean liner, but I was simply wondering how much a London-New York flight would have had cost in those days?
