Vongphong is a very strong Typhoon. It's hitting Okinawa now, and pretty much everything in or out of Naha is cancelled. The projected track takes it pretty much over the entire country. Also, it may take longer than you think for United to recover, depending on how out of position the planes become. I agree that the smart play is to change now.
