Planning to do a Marriott TP redemption and just want to get a feel of the worth of AS miles. Conflicted between transferring miles portion between AA and AS...

AA - is my preferred domestic program but pretty sure they are going to get devalued (to some extent) next year. So don't want to add there before knowing what's gonna happen. OTOH. there is the 20% transfer bonus from Marriott going on.

AS - One way awards with international stopover in hub city. Doing ORD-HKG-DEL run on CX using AA miles would cost me 112.5K in F; same thing would be 70K on AS.

Since I don't live in AS cities, the domestic stopover is pretty much useless for me. Given all that.. are AS miles worth sacrificing a 20% bonus from Marriott conversion (approx 24,000 AA miles for me).
