Exactly. That's why I use a HOSTS file. ....... may do the job, too, but I don't know exactly what that does.
I use ....... on the laptop and it's pretty effective. On the iPad, I use Weblock but on ba.com the pages fail to load. That's frustrating particularly when trying to book flights or construct a multi-city itinerary. I have to switch it off, close the browser and start again.
I've tried 'whitelisting' it but that didn't work.
