We did this with no problems unless you are under 5ft 6. I am just that and they had only 1 bike that was small enough for me (which became a problem when it got a puncture). The ride was pretty easy (I skipped the steep downhills that my husband did) and gears allowed riding uphill to be fine. Wasn't too hot at 5:30 in September for us.

I haven't publicised our review of the property because it's on our beta website which is still partially incomplete (although the Middle East section is up). However, I think the pictures may be useful to some deciding which room type, so here is our review (with rather a lot of pictures!) and here is our interview with Patrick Both, the GM.

(sounds like you had a similar trip to us with PH AUH too!)
