Does this imply if you have been contacted, you do NOT have to be at the airport for the original departure time? You'd think there is always a chance the situation improves so you would want ALL passengers to be there. In which case why bother with the 'if we haven't already contacted you'?
The flight is packed - i'm wondering if it's overbooked - if you check in on time you may be re-routed? Or maybe in case they can find another plane to depart on time? There will be other issues - as tomorrows BKK-LHR is now scheduled to leave at 12:55 as those coming back may miss domestic connections arriving late at a9:10?
