A 2 hour delay for departure on a longhaul doesn't mean a 2 hour delay for arrival.
+1. Timetables seem to be so padded these days. Last month I had a SYD-LAX flight that was turned back because the computer needed to be restarted. We ended up departing about 80 minutes after schedule but only about 10 minutes late at arrival.
