What on site or close by dining options would suit us? - not looking for fine or expensive dining this time around.

Is it easy to take a taxi from the Marriott to/from a grocery store?

Does anyone have a manager's email address they can provide me so that I can contact them ahead of my stay?

Any other tips or advice on traveling to the Aruba Marriott with our son?

Thanks for the help!
I doubt you'll have any luck finding a taxi with a car seat in AUA.

Cribs (from when I've traveled with my sister & her kids at CY's) are small cribs, not the flimsier pack & plays.

I recall on-site dining to be a restaurant by the pool for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I think there's a Champions sports bar, and I think there's a "finer dining" lunch & dinner place overlooking the ocean.

For close-by dining, nothing within walking distance (maybe at the Ritz next door or the Vacation Club, but I'm not sure)

You can definitely take a taxi from the Marriott to a grocery store, there's a big one on the main road from the airport to the hotel. Our room had a fridge in it & we bought duty-free and picked up mixers at the grocery store on the way in (I remember the local branded OJ to be especially not tasty!)

With that said, when we went down there, we stayed for 4 days & actually rented a car from Budget using U108410 or V084800 (can't recall what they are for, but I think I got the codes off the Budget code thread) and it was fairly reasonable, about the same as using a taxi for all our needs as i recall taxis were a bit expensive). The car that we rented was a stick shift - reminded me of an mid-90's Toyota Corolla or Mazda 3, I think, but it was reasonably priced for our stay. Maybe $180 for the 4 days?
