Just picked up a car yesterday at BDL. Luckily I am Gold and the wait was not too bad.
Lady at the Gold desk indicated half of the cleaning crew quit last week, and that there was a 2 hour wait for non-Gold members in the regular lines.
Warning to anybody renting from Hertz @ BDL in the near future.
Wow that's shocking to hear for me... I've rented from BDL maybe ~10 times between July and September this year and I have nothing but compliments about them.... Never got a car with over 3k miles, got multiple brand new cars (under 10 on the odo), and always a smooth process. Was the lady at the Gold desk a shorter middle-aged Asian lady? She always used to put me into the nicest cars they had available for my needs
