Hi All -

I have traveled to Aruba 2 years ago and stayed at the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. At that time it was just my wife and I and we enjoyed the hotel and the island. We are heading back to the Aruba Marriott this November, only this time we will be bringing our son who will be about 8.5 months old at the time. I am Plat with a base room booked on points (think it says limited view) and am hoping for an upgrade to ocean view. I plan to reserve a palapa the day prior for our beach days. We mostly just want to relax at the pool/beach, but would be up for some family friendly activities. Even though I was there before I wanted to ask for some advice or tips on traveling there with our son. I have read through the Aruba threads and did not find much advice on traveling there with young children.

Some things I am thinking about:
Should I need to bring my own car seat or would I be able to find a taxi with a car seat to get us to/from the resort?

I have requested a crib, does anyone know if it would be a crib or a pack and play?

What on site or close by dining options would suit us? - not looking for fine or expensive dining this time around.

Is it easy to take a taxi from the Marriott to/from a grocery store?

Does anyone have a manager's email address they can provide me so that I can contact them ahead of my stay?

Any other tips or advice on traveling to the Aruba Marriott with our son?
