The person (probably a DL contract GA, but it could have been AR staff or airport security) sitting at the table at the start of the gate security check just took a pen and crossed off the SSSS after checking my name against some list. I was a DM traveling on a paid deeply discounted (Z class on DL) RT ticket in BE.

Reprinting my domestic connecting boarding pass at ATL got rid of the SSSS but did not get me my usual PreCheck.
