I haven't heard any recent reports of someone being denied entrance when on AS-issued award ticket.
Sure, it takes jumping thorough a few hoops, but it invariably gets worked out by the agent (who by now are accustomed to the issue).
I don't have a concern about ex-US flights as they seem to be aware of the issue. I am worried about flight departing from BKK and DXB - not sure that they would even beware that AS is a partner, yet alone be able to fix any ;oung invite bugs.
