Another great stay at the PH Vendome this past weekend--the Park King Suite is wonderful, service was again amazing, and our stay was pretty much perfect yet again.
We had an incredible first dinner (15 course "inspiration" tasting menu with wine pairings) at Guy Savoy--highly recommended if you have the 4+ hrs to enjoy such a divine meal. The wine pairings were tremendous, as well, and I judge that tough, so kudos.
We also went a bit out to L'Assiete, a quaint but nice modern bistro in the 14th (I think) based on some local reviews and other commentary. Was splendid, quaint, and classic French.
Also had a lovely lunch in the MO courtyard. Service was a bit slow, and they did mix-up our coffee order a bit, but I always enjoy the ambience there at the MO.
Intended to check out the Pen but never made it. Too much shopping and dining. :-)
