FWIW, today's regularly scheduled UA86 EWR-PVG shows the same zig-zag routing avoiding N.Krea.


I believe UP1 is somewhere on the UPS ramp. Have a look at the airport diagram here. UPS and Fedex are at the lower left. They are indicated by UP, FD and FE.
