Were you in a proper simulator for fun, training for work? Or is it a home-computer game?
It's a fixed base one in Bacup near Manchester. The person who runs it has sessions on Tuesday night to which a few of us go over to and fly around. I have paid for a few sessions there as well. It is this one:

I am on a very steep learning curve at the moment, but at least heading in the right direction and getting more experience under my belt. It isn't remotely related to what I do for a living, but I really enjoy it. We do try and do things properly with all the correct flows and checklists etc.
I have also got a session at one of the ba 747 full motion simulators this Friday which three other FT'ers are coming to (
thread is here). That will be my first time on a full motion simulator so I am sure it will be a fun evening.
