My biggest problem was fear of making a silly mistake. The break thru came when I realized that most people didn't care about that and after that things improved with each trip.
When I´m in the US or GB no one (except my wife) corrects my terrbile English. Sometimes a "sorry?" if it`s without ny sense.
I don`t think you must be afraid to do silly mistakes. I don`t care and most People alos don`t
