If you fancy being a bit more adventurous, you can do various hops via DOH on Qatar at reasonable prices in J.

You can have a day exploring Kathmandu for GBP 1700 netting 560 TPs, just about doable in a weekend (although you might want to add on Monday to see more of the place!).

From memory, the sweet spot is the set of destinations from DOH that aren't business destinations but which flip over into higher TP bands. KTM and TRV for example.
