I called yesterday and was told "oh, your 261 request for flight delay is in a queue". When I pointed out it wasn't for a delay they said "oh, we mis-tagged it as a delay - sorry! Well, then we better deal with it".

So clearly BA are putting delay compensation requests into a black hole until Jet2 vs Husar

It is a on going case on technical fault, which court states that it does not come under extraordinary circumstance and going to be heard in November in supreme court (If permitted). read out huzar vs jet2.com for more help.
