Like every week I check into a Renaissance hotel last night. As I entered the room I did not pay enough attention. After I changed I go to the restroom and find towels all over the place. I immediately call front desk and as I'm talking to the staff I notice that the bed has not been kept and there's trash in the room. So housekeeping never touched or cleaned the room.

I was immediately offered a different room and the woman I spoke to said she would send someone with keys to a different room on the same floor. It was late and I said to myself I will deal with this tomorrow.

I have never had this happen to me before at any hotel. I'm a regular at this hotel So I'm totally shocked that something like this can happen. Any suggestions as to how I should escalate this?
