I'll just chime in as well. I was at this property for a conference last month (about 500 attendees) and while I wasn't staying there (I was staying at the ballpark property as I was on a govt. rate), the hotel did an excellent job with conference logistics. I found the F&B, meeting rooms, AV, and logistical support to be as good as what I've seen anywhere. And the public areas of the property itself are beautiful - upon entering the main atrium my thoughts were immediately of a comparison to the Palmer House.
The shopping mall thing attached is sort of sad and in need of tenants but that is out of the property's control in my understanding. On my next trip to STL, I'd be eager to stay here and check out the guest rooms and other parts of the property I didn't see.
