On another occasion due to a weather delay earlier this year she had Delta comp for a car ride from San Jose to San Francisco airport to catch an alternate flight. Most recently I volunteered and received an $800 Amex gift card and rather than go on a later flight I asked and received a hotel voucher for the night and meals to go on the same routes the next day, and as luck would have it, another $800 volunteer opportunity arose and another hotel night with meals. I have many stories about the wonderful services received by Delta, as they really go out of their way for elite members.
SJC had a red coat at 2300 hours? now I am impressed.
