Well I was so curious I spent an hour on the phone with staff at the registration call center. This is new and the nice phone people (Omaha) and their supervisors don't know how points are redeemed . We did eventually discover a number for an entity called the Reward Service Center (1855 856 0510). The agent at RSC confirmed that this was not a system where you transfer points to an airlines or hotel partner but the point are used like cash. She could not give me a value for the points but offered to call back tomorrow with an answer.

So we learn little by little. Curious that this seems to be a card targeted at travellers but the early marketing info does not provide the answer to questions travellers will have on redemption. We discussed how they will get lots enquiries on this point.

Edit- a quick google found RSC to offer redemption of 1c / mile for USAA.
