Rimowa carry-on: torn between Salsa Deluxe & Topas

I’m sure this has come up, but I need to revive this topic: I have decided I want to get a Rimowa carry-on (I’m getting rid of a lot of my current bags/suitcases and downsizing), but I’m absolutely torn between the Topas aluminum and the black Salsa Deluxe. (I would get the IATA Cabin size in either case).

I love the premium/badass look of the Topas, but like the lower price of the Salsa. I’m 22 (so I want to keep it as long as possible in good condition!) and can definitely afford both, so money is not really an issue here. I just want something that I’m gonna LOVE.

What are some things I’m probably not weighing into my decision? Any insights from current/former Topas and Salsa Deluxe owners?
