Do you agree with every Supreme Court ruling? Every single one? Do you *like* every Supreme Court ruling? Every single one?

Just because something has been "upheld" does not make it any easier to swallow. And there have been many rulings by one Court that were overturned by another.

One can build "implied consent" into just about anything. Want a mortgage? You must give implied consent to have your house searched periodically. Want a library card? You must give implied consent that your reading habits may be scrutinized to make sure you're not reading too many books that could help you get into mischief.

Extrapolate the searches built into this implied consent nonsense at airports and you have an agency like the TSA with the same powers as US Customs. What a cheery thought.

This is quite a shock. Maybe you'd like to re-phrase that, or do you really mean this? I hope not, because it would really be saying something.

I thought everyone was being pretty reasonable, but seems like this forum is turning into a football game where anti-TSAer's want to take their footballs home come hell or high water. My way or the highway. If you say something I don't like, I'm going to turn you in.

Stasi, indeed.
