No idea where the right forum would be for this, but thought it was interesting enough to share. Was looking up some information on Pan Am's Worldpass program and came across this old ad from 1982.

50% bonus on first class? Sure. 25% bonus for Clipper class? Nothing special. But the promised top perk? Unlimited free flights in first for two for 30 days on any Pan Am route!!!!

That's incredible. Did anyone here who flew Pan Am back then ever realize the perk? Was it a pain to use? And why can't somebody offer this for a million miles now?
