I guess there is still some mystery how the thing triggers. If it triggers, you aren't going to miss it. There is a loud beep and a red light flashing on your windshield visible even during day light.
I rented a Suburban LTZ and its gone off at random while driving down the expressway and it scared the crap out of me. However, the burban also has a seat vibartion that can be helpful as well as scary if you dont know about it.
