A million dollars isn't what it used to be nor is 500k miles. I have almost 700k US miles but I still am prudent in how I spend them. What if your travel habits change? What if you decide to take a great vacation in F and have to drop a ton of miles? What about an unforeseen emergency?
Bottom line is that I will never be a fan of poor spending choices whether speaking of dollars or miles. To each his own.
