We book CE for MAD-LHR-GLA flights for extra luggage allowance, two lounge visits and the afternoon tea service.
If I didn't need the extra luggage allowance and wasn't connecting at LHR I'm not so sure I would though. Definitely worth trying CE once I would say.....go for it.
