I did this the other day - have a trip booked in CW with BA with a Premium Economy trip with CX in between.

I used my BA reference to manage the booking on the CX website and clicked on where it has my current seat allocation and it allowed me to change it. You're saying you're unable to do this though or you just can't find it?
