While DH8 is the generic code for the Dash8, UA and most airlines publish schedules with specific sub-models.

Dash8-[Q]100 is DH8A (ICAO) or DH1 (IATA)
Dash8-[Q]200 is DH8B (ICAO) or DH2 (IATA)
Dash8-[Q]300 is DH8C (ICAO) or DH3 (IATA)
Dash8-[Q]400 is DH8D (ICAO) or DH4 (IATA)
