I think the App only shows Gold unfortunately. At some lounges they can see GGL but not all , and I also think there may be a training issue too. It depends on the IT setup at the lounge. T5, T3 and LGW can see GGL for sure. It would not surprise me if that Cinderella lounge in T1 cannot, or the person hasn't been trained (it's one third down on the far right of the screen). There won't be much GGL double guesting going on there.
However I don't think they see your status any faster than you would online, and there is a known bug if you were Silver or below at the start of year 1. I have not seen a recent report of that so it may be fixed. If you need this resolved before flying, you best ring up. Your crowned card should be visible by Monday, I would have thought.
