A similar issue happened to me at the Palomar SF recently. Here's the message I sent them via the contact form (and whatever happened to e-mail addresses? I hate webforms - especially when you don't even get a confirmation e-mail or copy of what you sent.)

Hi,

I stayed at the Palomar SF for one night on 8/29/14. I'm an inner circle member, and I always take advantage of the "Raid the Bar" benefit. On this stay, I took a couple items (totaling $11 or $12). On check-out, I disclosed this and presented the "Raid the Bar" voucher I received at check-in. The front desk told me not to worry about the dollar or two difference. However, I'm seeing a $13.04 charge to my AMEX (ending in 0912) from the Palomar SF that posted on 9/2 with a transaction date of 8/31.

I'd like to get this refunded. Also, I like the "Raid the Bar" benefit, but the convenience of it is totally compromised if I need to check my credit card statement afterwards. I've seen a good number of reports of this happening on Flyertalk as well, and I'd like to see better care taken to ensure this doesn't happen. It would also be nice to receive an e-mail when charged for something from the minibar after the stay (assuming it wasn't discussed at check-out). That way I wouldn't have to catch it on my credit card statement.
