I can fly on the 4th via ZRH on LX8. Upgrade to F is not available at this stage. LH434 not an option that day as I would arrive too late in ORD.
If you want to fly F and F is bookable (under your preconditions) on LH take LH on the 3rd. Also for the sake of the time buffer.
Spending some time in the FCL in MUC should not to be bad, either.
