I am sure I am doing it wrong but:

SFO-MEX (11/12): $191 or 9,450pts+$28.76 so for me, 9,450pts are worth $162.24 (i.e 58.24 pts / $1)

SFO-DEN (11/12): $137 or 7,944pts + $5.60 so for me, 7,944pts are worth $131.40 (i.e 60.45pts / $1)

so in that scenario, flying to MEX seems slightly more 'profitable' than flying to Denver. But again, I am sure I am doing it wrong
