Well I just got their last response

Round 7:

AA:
Dear Mr. Fedechat:

Allow me to apologize if any of the data presented to you was unclear.

All passengers traveling on your route are allowed two checked bags. Charges changed for tickets purchased on or after April 8, 2014. Prior to that date a Gold AAdvantageŽ member was entitled to a waiver of the charges for two bags. After that date ONE bag would be transported without charge, but a $100 fee applied for the second piece of checked baggage. Since your second piece was weighed by our agent at over 50 pounds, but less than 70, an additional charge of $100 applied for transport of the overweight bag.

In error we collected $250 and we have started the process to refund the $50 overcharge.

Thank you for allowing us to clarify.
I don't know from where AA is getting this information, their site says that from US to South America, 2 bags are allowed after April 8. Do I have to assume they don't know that Argentina is located in South America?

Does anybody know another way to contact AA but like a 2nd tier of Customer Service? obviously Customer Relations does know their own rules!!! or at least, they have a different list that the one with have access (aa.com).

Thank you in advance.
