AC is supposed to get rid of 20 E90s, 10 in 2015 and 10 in 2016. Someone who would know these things told me the exit plan for them is very fluid and changes 'by the day'. Exaggeration, but I'm sure it is close to the truth.
The first E190 was delivered December 2005 so they are all quite young. At somewhere around 9000-12000 cycles and probably 20-25000 hours, they have a ton of life left in them to reach their designed economic life of 80,000 cycles/hours.
My personal preference is for the E2 over the middle seat and 2x2J CSeries, but the only opinion which really matters is that of AC's bean counters.
