Spent a weekday night here on business. Sorry land of miles - bit rushed for the lounge! Enjoyable stay overall, smooth check in and I was upgraded from Deluxe to the next tier room as a Gold. Look out for the strange but entertaining sculpture adjacent to the lobby - comics and fantasy fans will salivate.

Room was of a decent size and well furnished, though a rather poor view from the window of the office buildings opposite. Believe it was New Scotland Yard? Couldn't be closer to the tube across the road. Breakfast buffet in the Blue Boar was tasty but a little sparse vs say the HK or Dubai Conrad, but sufficient if you're not looking for a leisurely 2h sit down. Small but serviceable (empty on a weekday evening) gym with plenty of water bottles in the fridge.

Only 2 service hiccups - I was advised by the desk at check out that the quickest way to Gatwick was via cab (during peak hour). I was a little wary and asked the doorman, who promptly advised I was better served by a cab to Victoria then the Gatwick Express. Also, despite a reminder to their customer service that I hadn't received HHonors points nearly 2 weeks after, and a prompt apology, the points still aren't banked in.

Plenty of pictures, but can't seem to upload them so perhaps another time.
