I just booked our outbound on the 763 from DFW-OGG in First (originating at our home airport through DFW) as a MileSAAver at the end of next August - pretty excited! It's earlier in the year than I'd been thinking, but this will be perfect for our 5-yr anniversary.

With that said, what would be your suggestions as far as strategy for booking the return flights? The schedule for that next week isn't loaded yet, so I'll begin searching right away next week. But, I'm guessing it may be next to impossible to find additional 763 award availability conveniently 7-8 days later for the return. Should I just book the best option right away, as soon as the schedule's released next week (and then be willing to pay the change fee if I find better availability later on)? Or, should I hold out, not book anything right away, and hope something better is released at a later date?
