As mek17 previously noted, LUV vouchers aren't technically tied to an individual so yes someone other than the original recipient can use them. if you're sure you don't want them/won't use them, recommend you find a family member/friend that could make use of them (rather than an on-line stranger) and transact that "business" as you deem appropriate. The vouchers should be good for one year, so certainly no rush to do anything today.

ATL was ground-stopped for a period of time earlier today due to the remnants of yesterday's severe storms moving across the country. DAL was ground stopped much of yesterday afternoon/evening (the control tower was even evacuated at one point), also due to severe weather. Between Mother Nature and the catastrophic fire damage @ Chicago Center, the entire country was pretty much gridlocked a good bit of yesterday. Today being Friday (normal very-busy travel day) plus the carriers trying to pick up the pieces from yesterday, you can see how things would have been in disarray this morning.

I'll spare you the lecture of "you got a great deal" since others have already piled-on to a degree

Free advice = stick with the positive space re-route they gave you for later today; hopefully all will go well despite messing up a chunk of your day.

As a frequent flyer who never VDBs (I don't want/need the $$ or points) and has never been IDBd that I can recall, I must admit to being quite amazed/impressed at your "score" this morning
