The business/first 50k award to Europe will get you business on the long haul, but first on any 2-class domestic AA flights (i.e. SFO-DFW, etc.).
Keep in mind using BA for the transatlantic segment with an F or J award will also bring about $500 in taxes and fuel surcharges for SFO-MUC.
Thanks. Seeing the taxes was a bit of a shock.
I'm looking at a Dec 6, Saturday flight frm SFO-->MUC.
Couple of questions
1)It looks like I can hold a reservation. can i just hold i t for a week and if anything better comes up, reserve that?
2)500 miles upgrades or gold status doesn't help. does it?
